Sorry for not posting i thought i leave Tanjung Pinang on Sunday. Skali mom extended our stay but it's all good. I had fun for my 4 day 3 nights trip. I'll post u the pics soon currently blogger is giving me problems damn.
I bought not much stuff only a puma slippers lol. Things are freaking cheap the currency $1 to 6000 Rupiah isn't that cheap. The reason i was there is because i had a weeding to attend. The weeding was on the second day even though it's raining the guest still kept pouring the house. The food is great i dun wana describe cos it may keep u guyz drooling. The weather there is unpredictable it may rain and then stop and rain again.
On the second day they rented a bus and they brought us around Tanjung Pinang which is even bigger than Singapore. They planned to bring us to "Pantai Trikora" which is a one and a half hour journey from town. The beach is exactly like Bintan island and Bali. I went there in the morning and the scenery is cool. I spend 45 mins with my cuzie playing with the sand and soaking up the fun. My mother's sedare says that in the evening many locals will go there to swim and windsurfing. Luckily it was high tide during the time i was there if not i might have walk to the rock i the sea. If it's low tide u can walk in the water. I have the pics of the "Pantai Trikora" i'll post it up ok.
The ferry journey from Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal is one hour 45 mins. If there is no wave in the sea it will be a smooth ride. The day i went last Monday was great as the journey is smooth sailing. During th Ferry ride i went to the back of the ferry to see the view of the neighbouring island. Afterall indonesia has around 2000+ island if i am not wrong. The ferry was crowded tha day i went as it's the December Holidays.
On the third day i went to the Market which is not far from the port that i reached on the first day. If u guyz love shades that is the place to be. Shades are selling very cheap i did not get one as i am "Rabun Jauh" lol. Unless i wear cotact lense den it's another story. I bought some pirated Dvd tooo. I bought "The Kingdom", "Hitman", "Blade 4" which is yet to be released in cinema hehe. There is "American Gangster" but the picture quality sucks. It's cheap i convert the price is less than $1 plus our money cheaper than Malaysia right hehe. After that my family brought me to KFC i ate their Chicken Burger is not like our "Zinger".
The hotel was ok and i enjoyed the brekfast by the restaurant. the only thing i missed is the massage. I should come down early skali by the time i came down some ppl took my place. By the time they finished the parlour is alomst clsing as it's 11 pm Indonesia time our time is an hour further which is 12am.
Ok that is story of my holiday trip. I recommend u guzy to visit Tanjung Pinang one day. U guyz will not regret the trip and the experience.
